Who is this platform for?

It’s designed for anyone interested in justice—students, educators, professionals, community advocates, or individuals who simply want to understand how justice systems work and how they affect society.

No prior legal knowledge is required. The content is structured for all levels. Courses available on the public interface are free of charge; however, if you have registered access, the courses are designed for legal professionals.

Are the courses self paced?

Yes. You can start, pause, and resume learning whenever it suits you. Progress is saved automatically.

Will I receive a certificate?

A completion certificate is offered for all courses on the registered site. Once you complete a course on the registered access site, your certificate will be automatically generated and available for download. Course descriptions indicate whether certification is included. Short documentaries and infographics do not offer completion certificates.

How accurate and reliable is the information?

Online content is offered through HELP, CoE and ERA and is therefore developed by experts in the sector. Content created by TEMI has been developed and reviewed by experts in law, justice, and social sciences. Sources are cited, and materials are updated regularly to reflect current knowledge and practices.

Are the courses accredited?

Courses by HELP, CoE and ERA are accredited by the respective institution or professional bodies.

Can I interact with instructors or other learners?

No, communication with the experts or instructors is not possible.

Is the content free?

All content on TEMI is free.

Can I use this platform on mobile?

Yes, this platform is fully optimised for use on mobile phones, tablets, and desktops. This ensures that you can access your learning materials and participate in courses from virtually anywhere, whether you’re at home, on the go.

How do I track my progress?

Your dashboard shows:
• Courses you’ve started
• Completed modules
• Certificates earned
• Recommended courses that may interest you

Do I need a subscription?

Content on the public interface (website) requires no subscription. A registration is possible in order to access more professional content, which is still provided free of charge.

Can I use the platform offline?

No. All TEMI content is available through a wi-fi connection. Documents supporting some of the courses can be downloaded on one’s device and can be accessible without internet connection.

How do I reset my password?

Here is the step-by-step process for a user to reset their own password in Moodle TEMI website:

1: Go to the Login Page
• Open your Moodle TEMI website.
• Locate the Forgotten your username or password? Link.
• Click that link to open the reset page.

2: Enter Your Account Details
• Search by either your Username or your Email address.
• Type the information into the matching field.
• Click the Search button.

3: Check Your Email
• Open your email inbox.
• Look for an email from the Moodle TEMI site.
• Check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive.

4: Follow the Reset Link
• Open the password reset email.
• Click the secure link inside the message.
• Note that this link expires after a few minutes.

5: Create a New Password
• Type your new password into the field.
• Type it again to confirm the spelling.
• Click Save changes to log in automatically.

What personal data do you collect?

The platform collects basic account information, such as your name and email address, as well as details about your learning activity, including course progress and quiz results. Additionally, optional profile information may be provided. Since TEMI is also addressing CPD, for users working within justice entities or specific professional teams, TEMI will collect information about your workplace. Information regarding attendance to online courses mandated by the organisation, will be shared with your respective office.

How is my data protected?

Our platforms use HTTPS encryption to ensure a private and secure connection between the users connected to our website.

Do you share my data with third parties?

Limited sharing may occur with trusted service providers (e.g., the CoE and ERA for participation in their courses, employers when course-attendance is mandated, analytics tools) strictly for platform functionality This sharing is conducted under data-processing agreements.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored on secure servers that comply with international data protection standards.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. You can request full deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Once processed, this action is irreversible.

Do you comply with GDPR or similar regulations?

The platform adheres to GDPR principles, which include transparency, data minimisation, obtaining user consent, and your rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
